Spain is one of the largest wine producers in the world. The title for the largest producer of wine goes back and forth between Spain and Italy, depending on the season and the harvest. The soil of Spain is rich, full of nutrients, and ideal for grape harvest almost year round. The Spanish people consume a lot of wine too. Every lunch and dinner in Spain are accompanied by excellent wine.

Q. What is your favorite alcoholic drink? Does alcohol change your behavior or personality?

A. I would say my favorite alcohol is beer. I drink occasionally with co-workers after work. We usually drink with the meal and then go for beer. To be honest, I am not comfortable with these gatherings. They feel like an extension of work and I have to be on my best behavior. However, it is easier to talk with a boss or colleagues after having some alcohol. I think drinking makes me more talkative and open, because alcohol dulls the senses. Instead of being reserved, I am more carefree after a few drinks.
