I don’t like savory dishes made into sweet snacks. Satay is also a very popular snack in Singapore. It is made from chicken, beef, or mutton meat skewered onto sticks and grilled over charcoal fire. The taste is delicious. However, I once tried satay flavored cake in Singapore and it tasted awful to me! My friends who were with me thought it was okay but personally I feel that we should never mix savory flavors into sweet dessert items! The flavors just do not go together for me. I feel savory should be savory and sweet should be sweet, the two should not mix.
