Q.
If someone took a picture of you without your permission, or if you found yourself on social media without your permission, what would you do?
A.
If it is among friends, I would first ask to see the photo if someone took my photo without my permission. If I am okay with it or if only a small part of me shows, then I will leave it. If I think it violates my privacy, then I would ask the person to delete the photo in front of me. On the other hand, if it is a group photo, it would mean that I gave my consent upon taking the photo, so I would not have any objection to it being posted online. However, if for some reason I think a group shot with me is not appropriate to be posted online, I would ask the person to remove it.
