Taiwan has a distinct tea culture for tea lovers all over the world. Although coffee places can be found easily all over the country, Taiwan is still a tea-drinking country. The rural district of Pinglin in New Taipei City is known for tea plantations, tea shops, and the Pinglin Tea Museum. Visitors can experience a tea class with the museum owners. Tea leaves grown on the famous Ali Mountain in Chiayi are the most sought-after oolong tea in the world.

A. Yes, I enjoy drinking tea very much. There is nothing as relaxing and refreshing as a hot cup of tea to me. It is my favorite hot drink that I look forward to every day. I like to drink almost every type of tea. Earl Grey with milk is my favorite, but I am also partial to a delicate jasmine or herbal tea, such as lemon and peppermint. The only tea I am not fond of is English breakfast tea.
