Sweden Imports Waste from Other Countries

The Swedish people believe in recycling. They love being in nature and they are very careful about their actions on their environment. The Swedish people are one of the best at recycling and reusing in the world. Sweden has run out of garbage because of its people’s effort in recycling! This may sound like good news but it has caused a big problem. Sweden generates electricity that it needs from renewable sources. Now there is not enough garbage left to produce the electricity that the country needs. Sweden’s solution is to import garbage from Norway and the United Kingdom. These countries even pay Sweden to take their garbage away!
