Pub culture is an important part of life in England. Pubs are where people go to socialize, relax, and have a drink. The traditional snacks served in pubs are crisps and nuts. At a pub, people have to go up to the bar to place their order, and hold the money in their hand to signal to the person behind the bar that they are ready to order. If you are with a group of friends, then “getting your round” is an important part of pub culture. “Getting your round” is when you buy drinks for everyone in your group. One of the great things about the pub culture is that you can throw caution to the wind and chat with strangers.
