Scotch egg is a hard-boiled egg that is wrapped in sausage, covered in breadcrumbs, and then deep-fried or baked until crispy. It is a popular pub and picnic dish and is usually served cold in England. The Scotch egg has competingorigin stories. A store in London says that it created Scotch eggs in 1738 for travelers on carriage rides. Another story claims that the scotch egg came from northern India, where the egg is covered withminced meat and served with curry. A third story claims that it was invented by Scottish farmers as an inexpensive dish.
Do you prefer the egg yolk or the egg white and why?
A.
I don’t have a preference because I like what both has to offer. The egg white has more proteins and is better for me when I exercise. The egg yolk is more nutritious and has a softer texture but it can be fattening when I eat too much of it. Therefore, I usually end up eating the whole egg for the benefits of both the egg yolk and the egg white.
