Do Not Swear

In many American movies, swearing is portrayed as a very common behavior. In many cases, it is even portrayed as something “cool” to do. In reality, swearing is a very offensive thing to do in America. It is normally associated with behaviors of juvenile delinquents, rappers, and adults who are seen as angry or violent. Anyone who swears is viewed negatively. Except in bigger metropolitan cities, like New York, most people in America are mindful of their language and do not like to swear. Children in American are also raised not to swear and get into big trouble when they do. Anyone visiting America, especially in non-metropolitan cities, should avoid swearing to not offend anyone.
