Ann's English teacher told everyone to write a book report every day. Everyone was in a panic. Some students enjoy reading books, but it is too much work even for those bookworms.
The students tried to compromise with the teacher, but she didn't even blink. So from now on, every student in Ann's class needs to check out one book in the school library after school and read and write a book report about it at night.
Ann doesn't mind reading many books, but she feels too much pressure writing a different book report every day. She doesn't like the idea of her teacher forcing all of her students to do extra work. Ann feels she is doing enough homework already. The worst thing is that those who don't complete the report must stay in school until they actually finish it.
