Day 6 – Beauty

I met my best friend’s sister for the first time today. I was waiting with my friend for his sister to hand something to my friend. The moment I saw her, I couldn't take my eyes off her. Unlike other girls, she didn’t put on makeup, but she is one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Her long hair was shining in the sun. Because she had ran to meet her brother quickly, her skin was clear and glowing. She smiled at us when she arrived, and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. She has one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen. She has a small gap between her two front teeth, but I think that is one of the most attractive parts. I mean, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

She handed my friend what he was waiting for, and she was about to leave. I didn’t want her to go so I asked if she would join us for lunch. My friend looked at me annoyed and hit me in the rib with his elbow. His sister laughed and said she was busy. Man, she sure is easy on the eyes.

Once she was gone, I asked my friend a million questions about her. My friend didn’t understand why I liked her so much. He says she is mean and annoying. That her beauty is only skin-deep. But I think that is because she is his sister. I relentlessly kept asking questions until my friend got so annoyed, he just gave me her number.

What should I do? Should I call her? Or would texting be better? What do I say? How do I explain how I got her number? All of this is so exciting and nerve wracking.
