Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is the largest waterfall system, by amount of water, in North America. It consists of three separate waterfalls- Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. The three waterfalls give a mind-boggling 7,000 cubic meters of water per second. The Niagara River marks the border between New York, USA and Ontario, Canada. The American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls lie on the American side. The Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side of the border. All the waterfalls are lit up in spectacular colors at night.

나이아가라 폭포는 북미에서 물의 양으로 볼 때 가장 큰 폭포이다. 그 곳은 호스슈 폭포, 아메리칸 폭포, 브라이덜 베일 폭포 등 세 개의 폭포로 구성되어 있다.
그 세 폭포는 초당 7천 입방미터의 물을 뿜어내는 경이로운 모습을 자아낸다. 나이아가라 강은 미국 뉴욕과 캐나다 온타리오 사이의 경계를 이룬다.
아메리칸 폭포와 브라이덜 베일 폭포는 미국 쪽에 자리하고 있다. 호스슈 폭포는 캐나다 국경 쪽에 위치해 있다. 밤에는 폭포 전체에 화려한 빛이 비친다.
