Victoria Island/Vancouver Island

The name for this island is actually Vancouver Island. However, many travelers frequently call it Victoria Island because Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, is at the south of Vancouver Island. Whether it is called Victoria Island or Vancouver Island, this is a photogenic and romantic city island. It celebrates its British colonial heritage with wineries, parliament buildings, and the Royal British Columbia Museum. Vancouver Island is also an outdoor adventure wonderland with some of the finest marine wildlife North America has to offer.
