I come from San Francisco, California. One of the most iconic landmarks in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. On a yearly basis, the Golden Gate Bridge can attract millions of visitors from around the world. As a young child, I did not understand why visitors would come from different parts of the world to visit it. As an adult now, I can finally understand. The scale of the bridge is something that you can only appreciate when you are on the bridge. The round poles of the bridge are many times wider than a man, and the bridge structure extends high into the sky above your head when you are driving on the bridge. On cloudy days, the bridge is covered by clouds and looks like an awesome bridge in the sky.
