Penang Hill is the first British colonial hill station in Malaysia and the oldest British hill station in Southeast Asia. Penang Hill stands at 821m tall and is one of Penang’s best-known attractions and the last spots of tropicalrainforest in Penang. Visitors can take the Penang Hill Railway or walk under trees that are 30 meters tall to get to the top of Penang Hill. At the top, visitors can enjoy the spectacular night view of lit-up Georgetown, British colonial architecture, and over 100 species of ordinary and exotic birdlife.
