Chinese like to have steamboat, a meal that is cooked at the table. It consists of two kinds of soups in a steamboat cooker. All kinds of meat and vegetables are at the table along with the soup. Once the soup boils, each person puts the ingredients they like. Once the ingredients are cooked, they are taken out of the soup and everybody enjoyed the fresh food. Each family will have their own special sauce to serve with the ingredients. Many people also enjoy Korean barbecue here in China, which is also cooked at the table. Instead of soup, ingredients are grilled over a grilling pan. I think any foods cooked and eaten right at the table are delicious because of the atmosphere and freshness.
