Have you been to any snow festivals before? If not, please share what you think a snow festival will be like.

Yes, I have been to a snow festival before. It was not a large or fancy snow festival but a small snow festival in my hometown when I was young. The festival took place at one of the mountains in our town near a lake. All the townspeople would come to the festival and we would all use the snow to create big sculptures. The sculptures were not very good but the process was fun! Only one person, an older gentleman, from our town was good at snow sculpting. I remember one year he made an igloo and the children helped him to draw in the bricks on the outside of the igloo. It was actually very well made and quite a few people could fit inside the igloo. I remember that it was warm inside the igloo, even though it was made of snow and ice. Of course, he always won the prize for the best snow sculpture.
