Weather

Singapore is located near the equator. It is a tropical rainforest and has a tropical climate. The weather is warm and humid all year round. It rains an average of 167 days of the year. Much of the rain is heavy and accompanied by thunder. May and June are the hottest months. There are two main monsoon seasons in Singapore: Northeast Monsoon Season (December to March) and the Southwest Monsoon Season (June to September).

싱가포르는 적도 근처에 위치해 있다. 이곳은 열대 우림 지대이며 열대 기후를 가지고 있다. 날씨는 일 년 내내 따뜻하고 습하다. 일 년 중 평균 167일의 비가 내린다. 많은 비가 내리고 천둥을 동반한다.
5월과 6월은 가장 더운 달이다. 싱가포르에는 두 번의 우기가 있다. 북동 몬순(12월에서 3월)과 남서 몬순(6월에서 9월)이다.
