Q.
Do you have a preference for British English, American English, or Australian English and why?
A.
Personally, I have a preference for British English. Although I am American and I speak American English, I also believe that language should be spoken as it is written to make learning as easy as possible. This doesn’t just apply to English but to any language. American English can be lazy in some ways. There is not as much emphasis on vowels as there need to be. I notice this when I listen to songs by British singers and songs by American singers. You can always hear clearly the words sang by a British singer but not always by an American singer. This is the difference between saying the vowels and not doing so.
