▶ Characteristic/personality
I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English teacher with a passion for helping my students practice their English conversational skills. I am a great listener, and I am strong at building new avenues of conversation for my students to explore.
▶ To 맛집영어 students
In my class, we will work on conversational skills that are applicable for using English in everyday life. My teaching style is based on assessing my student’s needs and goals, and making corrections where needed, while also broadening speaking abilities to include new language. My goal is to create a learning environment that is calm, engaging, and effective.
▶ Tutor’s experience
I have two years of experience in classrooms, and experience working with online adult ESL students across all skills of the English language, including topics such as job interview practice, casual and workplace conversating, grammar, and many more. I have also enjoyed more roles outside of teaching, such as being a barista and a camp counselor while in college. In college, I studied Liberal Studies and Creative Writing. I am also TEFL certified, and I have enjoyed teaching English ever since.

제가 이런 화상채팅으로 영어 대화하는게 처음인데, 잘 맞춰주시고 제가 잘 이해못해서 다시 물어봐도 웃으면서 대해주십니다. 모르거나 틀린경우에는 옆에 메모장 같은 곳에 직접 타이핑하여 알려주셔서 이해하기 더욱 쉬웠습니다. 그리고 화면을 직접 공유하여 설명하니 수업을 따라가기 수월했습니다. 좀 더 장난치면서 대화하고 싶은데 제가 영어를 잘 못하는게 한입니다!
아이가 초등학생이다보니 원활하진않았지만 재밌다고해요
처음하는 스피킹수업이라서 긴장을 많이했는데 계속 격려해주셔서 말하는걸 계속 시도할수 있었어요:) 친철하게 잘 들어주시고 천천히 말해주셔서 좋았구 커리큘럼에 따라 체계적으로 이뤄줘서 알찬 20분이였습니다. 메모도 길게해주셔서 도움이 될 것 같아요^^
