▶ Characteristic/personality
I am a calm and patient tutor. I enjoy teaching to help others be empowered with their own skills and for them to be more confident going forward in their lives. I am understanding of my students, and I can adapt to the needs of individuals.

My goal is to help learners feel more comfortable and confident expressing themselves in their own words with what they already know. I can help you learn in a manner that suits your preferences, and at your own pace. My philosophy for learning a language is to view it as an enjoyable game, with learning being it’s own reward. Learning a foreign language will have some difficulties along the way, but how a learner progresses can be influenced by their own mindset.

▶ Tutor’s experience
I have experience teaching adults aged 23 to 83 years, as well as kids & teens from ages 3 to 17 years. I am qualified to teach both adults and kids as I have the Cambridge CELTA and Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test: Young learner certifications. I have prior experience and training in face to face settings with a mixed group of adults who came from different countries, spoke different languages and experienced different learning needs, but all who shared the same desire to improve their English proficiency. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies.
