I was born and raised in a beautiful country called South Africa and I have been teaching English for 6 years. I am a passionate, patient, organized, creative and respectful teacher who loves to share knowledge and enthusiasm with students. I respect everyone and I always encourage positive behavior, mutual respect and understanding. I believe learning should be enjoyable and memorable all the time; that is why I always take time to provide support and guidance when needed.

I would like to welcome all StarKindle students with pride and excitement. I am dedicated to creating an environment where all students feel comfortable and happy. No matter where you are in your educational journey, I look forward to learning and growing alongside you. I am confident that our classes will be enthusiastic about all different pursuits you aim to achieve. My goal is straightforward: Enable my students to speak, understand and communicate in English. This will be done through creating an open and engaging atmosphere, so my students feel comfortable enough to talk, share ideas and discuss difficulties. You may count on me to exhibit these characteristics: competence, reasonableness, organisation, fairness, enthusiasm, sincerity, strict, optimism, and responsiveness. Learning a language requires a great deal of commitment and dedication, I am happy to assist.
▶ Tutor’s experience
I am a certified teacher from South Africa with a degree from the University of South Africa and I have been inspiring and assisting a range of K-12 English language learners in an international setting for over 5 years. I have taught English as a first language to high school students in South Africa from the year 2017 to 2019. I then relocated to China, where I have been teaching English as a second language. In my current position in a Chinese International School, I have successfully utilized my degree, experience and diploma in strategic management and leadership to ensure that my students reach their academical language learning goals and confidently grow their English cultural skills through careful scaffolding. I was voted Teacher of Year in the previous semester by a panel of Chinese and foreign peers and upper management due to my dedication, love and commitment to my students, versatility of teaching roles
and strong interpersonal skills that helped to merge east and west teaching philosophies. I believe that I always perform effectively and go beyond the expectations.
